Canoe Group Imaging is a Chicago-based studio specializing in CGI, retouching, production, and press simulation proofing for both agencies and direct clients.

Canoe launched in 2019. Our crew is a creative group of highly experienced professionals who have the knowledge and expertise in creating best in class imagery for industry leading brands. After working for some of the largest studios in the region for over twenty-five years, including the co-creation of a global production platform for one of the largest agency holding companies, it was time to chart a new course. We left the pressures of corporate targets and bottom lines behind and re-channeled our passion to what drew us to the industry – the craft.

We are unique in our experience in that we not only understand our client’s needs, but also appreciate the needs of their clients. Canoe is able to distill all of this knowledge and talent into a leaner and more impactful cost effective offering.

Canoe has recently expanded our geographic footprint and services by forming a strategic partnership with a company based in the Detroit area that creates best in class CGI work for the automotive/tech industries. This new partnership allows both companies to offer a more robust list of services to our current client roster.
